Bó Hub (“the app”) is a livestock-management app for Irish farmers, provided by Bó Hub Technologies. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: your farm data stays on your phone, and we do not collect it.
We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal information or farm data. Bó Hub has no user accounts and no central server run by us.
Everything you enter — animal records, herd details, treatments, movements, your profile (name, address, herd number, phone, email) and any organic certificate documents you upload — is stored only on your own device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
The app connects to the internet only to fetch public information: Irish cattle market prices (from the European Commission’s and the Department of Agriculture’s public data services) and farming guidance documents (for example Teagasc and gov.ie factsheets). No personal or farm data is ever sent when it does this. There is no advertising, analytics or tracking of any kind.
The app does not use location, and selecting a file to import your herd uses your phone’s own file picker, which needs no special permission.
Bó Hub contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.
Because we never collect your data, we have nothing to share or sell. Any exporting of your records (for example to a spreadsheet or PDF) is carried out by you, on your device, entirely under your control.
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can remove it at any time in the app (Settings → Reset Animal Data), or by uninstalling the app — uninstalling permanently deletes all app data.
The app is intended for farmers and is not directed at children.
